Self-pay rates are also available for anyone who prefers to keep sessions off insurance records.

What is narcissistic abuse recovery therapy?

It's individual therapy specifically trained for the psychological patterns left by narcissistic abuse and coercive control — gaslighting, trauma bonding, and the self-doubt that follows. It's different from general couples or family counseling because the goal isn't reconciliation, it's rebuilding trust in your own perception.

Do I need proof my partner is a narcissist to start therapy?

No. You don't need a diagnosis, a label, or anyone else's agreement about what happened. If the patterns described on this site feel familiar, that's enough reason to start.

What is EMDR and how does it work?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess distressing memories so they stop triggering present-day reactions. You don't need to narrate every detail out loud for it to work.

Brainspotting is a body-based approach that uses eye position to access and process trauma stored below conscious language — often reaching what talk therapy alone can't.

What is IFS (Internal Family Systems)?

PTSD typically follows a single or limited traumatic event. Complex PTSD is associated with prolonged, repeated trauma, especially within relationships, and includes core PTSD symptoms plus difficulty regulating emotions, a negative self-concept, and significant relationship difficulties.

Yes. Secure telehealth video sessions are available to anyone located in Indiana, in addition to in-person sessions at our Carmel office.

The first visit is a free 15-minute consultation, either by phone or video, to talk through what brought you in and answer your questions before you commit to anything.
